I have got the gridio dll to work in a system with ArcView GIS 3.2a installed. But when I tried in a system without an Arview GIS installed it gives me the "exiting" error though I have created folders similar to that created when ArcView GIS 3.2a was installed in the other system. The question is whether the gridio dll will work only in a system that has ArcView GIS installed or will it also work on one that does not ArcView GIS installed? Any help or pointers would be appreciated to help me get out of this problem

Is it possible that the Z units are not the same as your Plan Units (X,Y)? My suspicion is that your plan units are actually long/lat.
